Ranked below the Praetors who command the massed ranks of the Legiones Astartes into battle is a substantial cadre of battle commanders and officers who control and coordinate hundreds of thousands of Space Marines across a given conflict. These specialised officers include Legion Champions and Masters of Signals – warriors with very different battle roles. A Legion Champion’s sworn task is to hunt down and slay the commanders and heroes of an enemy force in single combat. Armed with the finest weapons available, these deadly fighters embody the honour of their Legion. A Master of Signals will commonly be attached to the forward elements of a Space Marine assault, providing communications support across the wider war zone, and is capable of ensuring weak spots in an enemy line are exploited, as well as reinforcing against enemy counter-attack. This multipart resin kit builds a Legion Champion and a Master of Signals, two specialised officers for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Armed with a paragon blade, the Champion excels in seeking out a foe’s mightiest warriors and slaying them to prove his Legion’s superiority. The Master of Signals is equipped with a command vox relay, giving them a broad picture of the battle so they can command your troops with a logistical skill second to none. These miniatures have no Legion-specific markings, so you can use them in any Legiones Astartes force, whether you're loyal to the Emperor or have joined Horus in his rebellion. This kit comprises 13 resin components and 2x Citadel 32mm Round Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. This resin modelling kit is not a toy – it is a collectable item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
