A company captain within the Emperor's Children, Saul Tarvitz was respected by those who followed him, but lacked the relentless political ambition to reach for the higher echelons of the III Legion - despite his considerable record of victories. When he discovered the scale of the treachery that was about to unfold on Isstvan III, Tarvitz took it upon himself to act - seizing a Thunderhawk, he flew down to the doomed world to warn the Loyalists trapped there of the impending slaughter, and led a rebellion against the Traitor Warmaster's forces. This multipart resin kit builds one Captain Saul Tarvitz - Captain of the 10th Company of the Emperor's Children Legion. This devoted Loyalist is posed wielding his charnabal broadsword in mid-swing - a heavy yet elegant two-handed duelling weapon. His highly-detailed artificer armour is decorated with all the finery expected of an officer in the III Legion - including a flowing cloak, delicate filigree, and the wing-and-talon armourial of the Emperor's Children. The kit includes a choice of two heads - the bare face and flowing locks of Saul Tarvitz, or an ornate helmet with a transverse crest. This kit comprises 13 resin components, and is supplied with a Citadel 32mm Round Base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. This resin modelling kit is not a toy – it is a collectable item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
