The XVI Legion has always had a reputation for aggression and employing swift, overwhelming shock assaults against enemy forces. As time passed, and more of their ranks were made up of recruits from the brutal gangs of Cthonia, the aggressive tactics and culture of the Sons of Horus began to influence the design of their arms and armour. Their gear would often be adorned with spikes, Cthonian glyphs and gang markings, as well as symbols of the Legion’s past. This multipart resin kit builds a champion and standard bearer for a Command Squad in your Sons of Horus army in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They are both armed with a Carsoran power axe, and are clad in modified MkIV armour packed with fine details and symbols depicting the heritage of their Legion. Whether used as part of a Praetorian Command Squad or a Centurion Command Squad, they are ideal for leading your troops into battle and inspiring them to victory. This kit comprises 11 resin components and 2x Citadel 32mm Round Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. This resin modelling kit is not a toy – it is a collectable item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
